Ten free crochet cardigans with more personality than a plain open front: mosaic colorwork, Tunisian, Fair Isle, bobbles, a lace kimono and a long duster. I checked each page for a full free pattern and skipped designs that sell the real instructions.

Every pattern here is free, and every link goes to the designer’s own page, where the full pattern lives. None of them repeats a pattern from my other cardigan roundups. If you want something plainer, try my cozy crochet cardigans or my striped crochet cardigans.
