Images From Pattern Designers
When we feature a pattern created by another designer, most often in our roundup posts, the photos shown are sourced directly from that designer’s original post or shop listing, with proper credit and a link back to their site. We do not claim ownership of another designer’s photography or pattern, and we never republish another designer’s full pattern as our own. Original Photography
For patterns created and tested by our own team, the photos are taken by us, of our own finished projects, works in progress, and materials.
Use of AI-Assisted Imagery
In some tutorials and guides, we use AI-generated or AI-assisted illustrations alongside real photos, for example, to show a stitch diagram, a close-up of a technique, or a visual explanation that is clearer as a diagram than a photograph. These images are used purely to help explain a step more clearly. They do not replace real project photos, and they are never used to misrepresent a finished pattern’s actual appearance. The written instructions and pattern content itself remain fully written, tested, and verified by our team, regardless of whether an image on the page is a photo or an AI-assisted illustration.
