2. Crochet Chick Amigurumi
Natalina Craft’s chick is a sweet little Easter decoration or handmade gift, and it is a quick, easy-to-follow pattern. She has a Facebook group where you can ask questions, and asks you to share finished chicks with #natalinacraft. It is a 3.5 inch chick in worsted yarn on a 3.5 mm hook with a head and body worked together.

3. Wheat Stitch Chick
Briana Kepner’s Wheat Stitch chick is a heart-shaped amigurumi worked in one piece in a textured wheat stitch that gives a cozy, dimensional look. It takes only about 35 yards of worsted yarn per chick (Herrschners Worsted 8 in light gold, and a small amount of chestnut for the beak), and she lists substitutes like Brava Worsted and Red Heart Super Saver.

4. Chick Amigurumi Keychain
Mariska Vos-Bolman’s chick is a small keychain amigurumi that is beginner-friendly and takes under an hour, almost no-sew, with the wings crocheted on. It is a good stash project for Easter or spring.

6. No-Sew Crochet Chick
Petra Salisbury’s no-sew chick is worked in continuous rounds and is very small: 7 cm (2.75 inches) tall and 8 cm (3 inches) wing to wing in sport weight yarn on a 2.5 mm hook. It uses yellow, orange and multicolored YarnArt Jeans, and you can use bulky velvet yarn for a bigger one.
