Ten free knitted hoodie patterns, from chunky pullovers and cabled jackets to a button front hoodie in garter rib and two baby hoodies. I picked patterns from designers and yarn companies that offer the full pattern for free, and I note the sizes, needles and gauge so you can see what you are signing up for.

Every pattern here is free, and every link goes to the designer’s own page. Hoodies take a lot of yarn, so check the yardage for your size before you buy, and swatch before you cast on. If you also crochet, see my roundup of cozy crochet cardigans.
