There is also a daisy starter kit that makes a bouquet of 8 daisies, so this is the one to choose if you want a real vase daisy and not an appliqué.
2. Crochet Daisy Flower
Carmen rates this Confident beginner. She shows it in sport weight cotton (Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/6) on a 3 or 3.5 mm hook, but you can use any cotton yarn, and it finishes 3.5 inches across. It uses chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and slip stitch, and she says she loved making daisy chains as a child.
3. Crochet Daisy Flower
Roseanna’s daisy is worked in lace weight cotton on a 1.75 mm hook, 4 cm across, with a florist wire stem. It uses about 25 meters of white, 15 of yellow and 10 of green, and the flower center is a crochet puff button. 4. Teeny Tiny Daisy
Jane made this tiny daisy appliqué for a headband to go with her white summer dress. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes if you are fairly new to crochet, and less if you have more experience. It starts with a magic ring in yellow for the center, and one skein lasts a very long time if you only use it for this project.
5. An Easy Daisy in Two Sizes
Brittany says this is about ten minutes of crochet and one of her favorites. It comes in two sizes, about 2.75 inches and about 3.5 inches, both worked in just two rounds. It is meant for adding to a hat, bag or headband or for using up scraps.
6. Daisy Applique
GoldenLucyCrafts rates this Intermediate. It is a 4.5 inch (11 cm) daisy in medium weight #4 cotton (Knit Picks Dishie), white and yellow, on a 3.5 mm hook, with an optional ladybug craft button. The pattern is her original design, so you can use it for your own projects but not redistribute it.
7. Crochet Daisy Bouquet
Simply Yarn’s daisy is 11 cm (4.5 inches) across and 24 cm (9.5 inches) tall, with yarn-covered wire stems, so you can make a bouquet with a bow. It uses DROPS Safran, a 4 ply cotton, in white, lime and other colors. It is written in UK terminology, with a conversion for US terms.
